Definitely a 'must' when in Janesville whether you've lived there for years or just passing through. It's difficult to narrow down what items to order because everything looks so spectacular! The perfect patio setting for a nice sangria on a summer's eve while enjoying a farmers market fresh pizza. Not only is their food amazing, but the staff is incredibly attentive and willing to offer up suggestions if you're having a difficult time narrowing down your selection. Truly can't go wrong with any choice you make and looking forward to our next visit!
Went early on a Thursday, was quiet. Very clean and contemporary interior. Server was knowledgeable about the menu and recent changes. Food was well prepared and the Old Fashioned was one of the most well balanced cocktails I've had in a long time. Not cheap but worth the price. Will happily go back.
I visited Genisa’s with one of my best friends yesterday and we had a PHENOMENAL time! Our server Sasha was so fantastic with recommendations that I even had her surprise me with a cocktail at the end of our dinner. She was so friendly, informative, and checked back with us to make sure things were to our liking. The food was delicious, and I cannot wait to go back. I’ll be asking for Sasha next time we visit! We decided to give this place a try after hearing good things about the food. And what we heard was totally spot on! And for a Tuesday night, they were surprisingly busy. I had a salad, my husband a pizza, and we shared some meatballs (ok we shared it all). We left pleasantly full and were basking in the glow of the great food and atmosphere the rest of the evening. Our server was just the right attentive, taking very good care of us, while not hovering. Some might consider the food costly, but you certainly get what you pay for. The food here is of high quality, and worth the price.
Had a wonderful time. I've wanted to stop by forever and yesterday was finally the day! From walking up to the stylish building to the friendly staff greeting us the second we walked it, everything was just as I wanted it. The atmosphere was laid back with a taste of swanky, the food was incredible... I loved it all. Garlic bread, citrus olives, rosemary mixed nuts, pizza, and the potato gnocchi... was wonderful start to finish. Our server was friendly and the perfect balance of attentive and letting us have our privacy. Will gladly be back again!
We came in for date night. We visited based on a recommendation by a friend who raved about the apps and patio. I love wine and my husband loves pizza so it was a great mix for both of us! We had the fall salad (tasty but fairly small), Italian meatballs (good) and two pizzas, the NY pepperoni and the farmers market (arugula, delicata squash, fig, balsamic). My husband loved his pick of the pepperoni and I’d say the farmers market was probably the BEST PIZZA IVE EVER HAD!!!! Highly recommend and we WILL be back!!!
Visited during restaurant week, and food and cocktails were quite good. Food was very flavorful. Service was excellent. We'll def eat there again. For the photo the presentation for this particular dish may not look that good, but it was REALLY good.
First time coming here with a friend, we ordered a pizza to split and sangrias. The pizza arrived with over half the crust burnt to the point of being inedible. We nicely mentioned it to the server and we refused his offer to make a new one as the inside of the pizza was fine, we just couldn’t eat the crust. He took the pizza off our check so we didn’t have to pay for it. We were more than satisfied with this. As we were leaving, the chef then pulls us aside and hands up two pizza boxes with a brand new pizza he had made fresh to make up for it! Very impressed with the service and will be returning because of it!
